Aspen-Pitkin County Airport is the airport for the famous skiing town Aspen. Surrounded by mountains, the approach provides spectacular views and exciting flying. In winter, the airport has frequent diversions and cancellations due to the daily snow showers in the afternoon.

Owl Creek Road
Just off to the side of Owl Creek Road. If you park on the side of the road, you can walk up to the fence on the West of runway 15-33. Police do make frequent drives past, so it isn't suggested to stop. Photography is difficult because of the high fence.
