Cemetery is off limits
I recently tried the cemetery spot that had been listed but was quickly greeted by APD and was told that I would have to leave unless I was there visiting someone in particular. I have moved it to locations to avoid.
17L/35R Usage
"The viewing area faces west to runway 17L/35R, so it is only good for photography during the morning hours. Probably only about 30% of all commercial traffic uses this runway, for landings it's even less. Most traffic on this runway is GA."
This seemed odd to me. I fly commercially through AUS about once every 2 to 3 weeks and we almost always get 17L with the exceptions being when it is closed for maintenance, as it was the on my last time there.
