Dunedin International Airport is a regional airport in Otago, on New Zealand's South Island. It is on the Taieri Plains, 30 km (about a 30 minute drive) west of Dunedin city centre. The airport has a single 1,900m runway, 03/21, with ILS in both directions, and a single terminal building with two airbridges. There are around 20,000 aircraft movements and 700,000 passengers annually.

Terminal building
The upper level of the terminal building offers good views of the runway, aircraft departing from runway 03 may rotate near the taxiway to the apron. Parking in the terminal carpark.
Other Spotting Locations
Centre Road
This is an excellent spot for aircraft landing on runway 21. Vehicles should be parked outside the boom gates, and not obscuring the signal lights from other motorists. It is a 100km/h zone, care is needed with traffic on the road. Google Street View
McLaren Gully Road
McLaren Gully Road, off State Highway 1, offers an elevated wide view of the airport. A zoom or telephoto lens needed for any amount of detail.
