Official Spotting Locations
Other Spotting Locations
Carpark A1
The carpark is located beside the terminal, and can be accessed through arrival hall door A1, and walking along the road. You can't miss it. Here, you can spot aircraft taking off, mostly domestic and some short-haul international flights. Note that you will be asked to leave by the police if you venture too near the airport fence. The only seating that you get here is a piece of grassland, and it isn't that comfortable. There is not much shelter here except for some trees. Photography is allowed here, but sometimes the aircraft will be too high for photography.

Facilities and Transportation
Guangzhou Metro line 3 has a station at the airport itself, so if you are travelling from Guangzhou Train Station or anywhere in the city, the metro is a good choice. Fares are not expensive but note that travelling time is about 30-40 minutes. There are airport buses available in the city, but they cost much more.
