Airport Loop Drive
At the end of airport loop drive there is a cul-de-sac. Parking is available on the street in the cul-de-sac during the day (Google Maps Street View). This spot will yield good shots of arriving aircraft, but departing aircraft are blocked by a large hedge. There are trees, freeway signs and street lamps that could damage shots, but it is possible to get some good shots. It is usually very quiet in the cul-de-sac, besides the traffic going into the office buildings adjacent to the airport. Because you are standing near the gate, airport police might become interested in you. They will watch from a distance, but they will not ask what you are doing or ask you to leave.
