:As an island it's certainly open to debate. The [https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/cy.html CIA World Factbook] describes it as Middle East. Cyprus
What is the reason that "Cyprus" is categorized as "Middle East" rather than as "Europe" ? Or would it be possible to have Cyprus in both categories ?
- As an island it's certainly open to debate. The CIA World Factbook describes it as Middle East. If you have some other, more authoritative source, that describes it as Europe, I'd be willing to change it. -- David 04:14, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
