Observation Deck
The entrance to the observation deck of Stuttgart's airport is located on the top floor of Terminal 3. There is a 2€ fee for adults, 1€ for teenagers under 16 and 1.50€ for handicapped people.
- The opening times are:
- April - September: 8:00 - 21:00h
- October - March: 9:00 - 18:00h
Since the observation deck is on top of the terminal buildings it is really long. When aircraft are approaching on rwy 07 you can see them better, since the rwy 25 is on the other end of the airport. However there is a fence. Depending on what kind of lens you use you might be able to navigate in between. If not, photography opportunities won't be that great for you. Also the gates are a little further away compared to the observation deck at FRA. Other than that, it is a pretty good place to go spotting.
