Official Spotting Locations
The best location to spot from is on the main balcony overlooking the ramp. To get there enter the front door at the airport authority building and ask the desk person if you can go on the balcony and they should let you right through. From there you can see the whole ramp and most of the parked aircraft at the airport. You also have a good view of both departures and arivals on runways 2L/20R and 2R/20L

The majority of the traffic at DuPage is made up of buisness jets and small GA aircraft however some larger aircraft such as the Boeing 737 BBJ can occasionaly be seen at the airport.
