- There is a grassed area with shade and seating that overlooks the arrivals and departures from runways 06L/24R and 06R/24L. This area also has toilets and a cafe located right near it. There is also parking it this location.
Morning photos may be backlit because the area faces east. Well lit in the afternoon.
- There is access to the roof of the Royal Aero Club of Western Australia (RACWA). The roof has no cover and is open to the elements, the area has exception views of arrivals and departures of runway 12/30, and good views of 06L/24R. The rooftop also gives you a birds eye view of aircraft taxiing and aircraft parked in the souther apron.

- There are extreme views of aircraft landing of runway 12 from the curved part of Spartan Rd. Aircraft fly over this area between 100-600 feet.

There is little security at Jandakot Airport, however if anybody sees anything suspicious that will contuse the Western Australian Police. Most people who work airside at Jandakot are not worried by spotters, but some companied have rules on what people can and can't take pictures off, so it is best to ask before.
