Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is a general aviation airport owned and operated by the city of Fort Lauderdale. It serves as a reliever to Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport. KFXE offers air taxi and charter services, flight training, maintenance and avionics, and a 24-hour FAA control tower.
Official Spotting Locations

The official spotting location is off of NW 31st Avenue and Prospect Road. Head east on Prospect Road, then make a quick left turn onto Perimeter Road. Make a left into the first parking lot on your left. This area contains a covered picnic table and have ATC feeds playing through a loudspeaker installed. Though it is offset from the approach end of Runway 9, you can get good views of the corporate flights landing and departing FXE.

This is an almost exclusively general aviation airport, so expect to see plenty of Cessna's, Piper's, and other light aircraft. The receive a large amount of corporate jet traffic as well and the occasional charter with a 737 or similar sized aircraft.
