The airport has hosted (two?) Boeing 747's (including Air Force One), but as of 2017, the largest aircraft on scheduled routes to and from RSW is the Air Berlin Airbus A330-200. Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-300's ocassionally operate during peak travel times to and from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Delta 767-300's also operate seasonally between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Fort Myers. Additionally, Miami Air operates quite a few charters here using 737-400s and 737-800s.
