Regina International Airport is the 2nd largest airport in Saskatchewan and the air travel center for southern Saskatchewan. It is served mainly by regional carriers and is a focus city for Westjet. The airport is frequently used by small and light private aircraft. The airport has 2 runways, 13/31 and 08/26, both are used for all traffic.

Located on the main floor of the terminal building, there is an area with large windows for viewing planes at gate 2. If there is no plane at the gate, you can see planes taking off and landing from runway 13/31. Air Canada Jazz planes usually occupies that gate.

This intersection is a grid road and is not very busy. There is enough room to park a car off the road there. It offers great views of both runways, and is good for photography if you have a good zoom lens.

Air Canada Jazz serves Regina frequently and operates the CRJ-100/200 and CRJ-705. Westjet also serves Regina frequently and operates 737-600 and 737-700 aircraft. Northwest Airlines and Northwest Airlink serve Regina twice daily and operate E-175 and CRJ-200 aircraft year-round and DC-9 aircraft in the summer. Skyservice operates the A320 on charter routes in the winter. Sunwing Airlines operates seasonally with 737 aircraft. Transwest Airlines and Express Air operate small light aircraft out of Regina.
