Bonaire is one of the Dutch Antilles and lies only a few miles to the East of Curacao. It's a great place for a vacation, especially if you're a scuba diver. The island offers one of the world most beautiful under water worlds.
But of course you are also able to go spotting. The traffic isn't very diverse or dense, but what comes is nice. KLM flies a 2-daily MD-11 into Flamingo Airport (other airlines, types, routes etc.!!)
Official Spotting Locations
None
Other Spotting Locations
Locations to Avoid
None, as far as I know. There isn't much police on the island and around the airport you won't see people constantly driving by to check if everything is ok.
Regular Traffic
Facilities and Transportation
None, you could rent a car/bike to get to the airport. You could also walk as it's not very far from Kralendijk and easily doable. When you go by foot, you can significantly reduce the walking by walking through the Plaza Hotel. To get there, go to the J.A. Abraham Blvd. and follow this road in Southen direction (away from town). Just be careful you don't get sunburned!
